Huacaya Female – Gypsy

gypsName: Gypsy
Breed: Huacaya
Sex: Female
DOB: 12/17/2005
Dam: RRA Gypsy Rose Lee
Sire: On-Line Von TR

Gypsy is simply amazing! She is loaded with very tight crimp from head to toe. Perfect conformation. She catches everyone’s attention whether they are interested in Suris or Huacayas.    Gypsy  lived up to our expectations – And was turning all the heads at the shows.

Gypsy has color consistency, fineness and exceptional uniformity, many elements missing from grey fleeces. She has an exceptional look from head to toe. Her fleece has a high frequency of very well defined tightly packed crimped fibers.

Gypsy delivered a medium rose grey male “Lightning” last June, and a dark fawn and white boy “Sequia” this year.  They both have extremely crimpy fiber and will definitely be in the ring next spring.

Huacaya Female – Lakota

Name: Lakota
Breed: Huacaya
Sex: Female
DOB: 11/28/2008
Dam: RRA Gypsy Rose Lee—Smoke
Sire: Cloverleaf’s Earl Grey

Lakota is a gorgeous Bay Black female Huacaya.   It is a shame she will probably not make the spring show age deadlines.   She certainly posesses the qualities needed to enter the ring.   Her fleece is thick and bundled all over.   It is rare to find such a tightly crimped black female.

Lakota’s Dam — we call Smoke. She is one of our  foundation females and the grey girl that started my love of grey Huacayas.   Smoke has consistently produce Blue ribbon crias–one after another.   Lakota appears to have the qualities to follow in their show foot steps.

Lakota’s Sire is Cloverleaf’s Earl Grey.   He has a rare exceptional grey fleece. Earl has an impressive show record of his own including several Reserve Championship banners.   He has obviously passed his exceptional fleece qualities to Lakota.

She took home the Blue at the 2009 NJAC.  If you are looking for a show quality black Huacaya female to add to, or step up your breeding program. Lakota maybe for you and is now available for breeding.

scarletName: Starlet O’Hara
ARI: 824458
Sex: Female
DOB: 7/1/2001
Dam: GF Star of Bethlehem
Sire: Excalibur Codi 0839

Starlet O’Hara is truly a one of a kind huacaya female.   I was instantly drawn to her unusual marking.   I have never seen another alpaca like her.   She also has gorgeous crimp and a dense blanket.   I was hoping she could produce crias with her unusal markings.   Her first cria delivered  was what we ordered.   Unusual colored pattern and fabulous fiber.   A wonderful appaloosa and blue ribbon winner of the PAOBA multi class.

Starlet was bred to SCF Lucky Luciano,  a four time color champion.   He has the most amazing fiber!   We co-own Lucky with Silvercloud Farms.

Starlet produced an appaloosa fawn and brown male on July 31, 2007 ” Rubicon”.   I am absolutely in love with his fiber.

Last year Starlet produced a dark rose grey male.   He had thick curly crimped fiber from day 1.   He has taken firsts in the show ring and will be there again next spring.  She delvered another dark rose gray boy this summerwho is equally as nice as her previous offspring.   Consistent with all crias Starlet and Lucky luciano have continued to produce!

Starlet’s exotic markings are one of a kind and would be hard to part with.

Huacaya Female – Tilama

tilamanName: Tilama
ARI: 152653
Sex: Female
DOB:
1/1/1994
Dam: Unknown Chilean
Sire: Unknown Chilean

Tilama is our special taupe colored Huacaya female.   She is a Chilean Import.  She has a color that is not really identified on the color chart .   She is a wonderful mother and has been a good producer.   She has produced grey, black and brown.

Tilama is a good mother, good milker,  and produces great crias.   Her genetics are passed on through her crias.

Tilama is bred to our Co-Owned 4time Champion Herdsire “Lucky Luciano”. Tilama’s crias are for sale.   It is by no coincidence that every cria produced by Lucky has amazing densely crimped fiber.

Tilama was bred to ScF Lucky Luciano and produced a multi-colored male in June, 2008.   This cria got the entire farm excited. His name is “Kodochrome” and we are all in love with this young male. His fiber is consistent with the excellent crimp Lucky Luciano continues to produce with each cria.  In September she had another appy cria, Chakita, that was equally impressive.  She has been rested for the past year, but is ready to be bred this spring.  If you are looking for a girl that throws appys, this is the one for you.
